Unpar Students Won 1st Business Case Competition in ICFBL

Business challenges arise in different scopes of space and time. Not only in the local context, a businessman is required to have resilience and broad insight into the international world. Armed with awareness of the importance of this, the Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) Parahyangan Catholic University of (Unpar) sent two students to Manila, in the Philippines, to attend the International Convention of Future Business Leaders (ICFBL) in early August 2017.

Johannes B. Widi and Marcella Marlene became Unpar representatives as well as Indonesian delegates, along with business students from various countries such as Vietnam, China, the Philippines and others. At the 5-day international convention, Widi and Marcella participated actively in every sub-event such as company tour, business talk (seminar with professional person and entrepreneur), corporate simulation , and ended with a business  case competition.

In the business case competition, participants collaborate with other participants (cross-country) to solve a business case. It was a proud moment because both Widi and Marcella managed to be finalists in the session. In this competition, Marcella even managed to win the first prize.

It is hoped that the valuable knowledge and experience acquired by Marcella and Widi can be useful and devoted to society in the future.
