Unpar Students Have an Opportunity for Internship in State-Owned Enterprises

Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar) is included in  a list of 25 universities partnered by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in a certified apprenticeship program.

Quoted from Kompas.com, through this apprenticeship program students of Unpar’s Diploma Program are expected to obtain input about the real world of occupation.

The 25 universities involved in this program consist of private and state universities. This certified internship program falls under the auspices of Forum Human Capital Indonesia (FHCI). Thousands of students will apprentice at certain positions in 63 SOEs in need.

A total of 2,732 students from 25 universities are registered in the first phase of this internship program. Out of this number, as many as 2,000 students will be taken in an internship program within 63 SOEs. Until 2020, the Ministry of SOEs targets 20,000 students to join the program.
