Vision, Mission, Goals and Targets

Vision To become a humanum academic community that develops local potential to a global level to enhance human dignity and the integrity of creation. Humanum represents complete and integral humanity, where each individual holds a life attitude that respects human dignity and the integrity of creation, grounded in faith, hope, and love.

Mission The mission of the university is to carry out:

  1. The development and transmission of cultural values in a critical and creative manner.
  2. Student-centered learning processes.
  3. Research and development in science, technology, and the arts.
  4. Community service.

This mission aligns with the university’s motto, Bakuning Hyang Mrih Guna Santyaya Bhakti, which means pursuing knowledge for the benefit of society based on divinity.

Goals To realize a better, more advanced, and more developed Catholic University of Parahyangan, generically expressed in achieving “the great UNPAR.”

Targets

  1. Strengthening UNPAR’s identity as an increasingly humanum academic community. This should be reflected in improved quality of higher education and governance, rooted in Spirituality and Core Values (SINDU).
  2. Establishing UNPAR as a preferred university, recognized for the development of knowledge, technology, and the arts, and as an institution conducive to the development of excellent character. UNPAR should gain wider recognition nationally and internationally, not limited to institutional accreditation from BAN-PT or LAM-PT, but also becoming a reference for various stakeholders (government, private institutions, and the community).
  3. Enhancing the quality of university governance and higher education management in accordance with good university governance principles and UNPAR’s traditions.
