Through this newly established Satgas PPKS, UNPAR provides services for reporting incidents of sexual violence. Cases are handled through support, protection, imposition of administrative sanctions, and victim recovery, all managed by Satgas PPKS UNPAR.

Support services offered include counseling, healthcare, legal assistance, advocacy, and social or spiritual guidance, provided with the consent of the victim or witness. If the victim cannot provide consent, it is given by their parents or guardian.

Administrative sanctions will be imposed on perpetrators proven to have committed sexual violence, ranging from mild to severe, in line with Satgas PPKS’s recommendations submitted to the Rector:

  • Written reprimands;
  • A written apology published internally or in mass media;
  • Temporary suspension from position without benefits; and
  • Permanent dismissal from a teaching or staff role, or a campus access ban for community members as per applicable regulations.

For students, sanctions include:

  • Suspension;
  • Revocation of scholarships; and
  • Permanent dismissal as a student.

The Rector may impose stricter sanctions than those recommended by the PPKS Task Force in cases where:

  • The victim is a person with a disability;
  • The impact of the sexual violence on the victim; and/or
  • The perpetrator is a member of Satgas PPKS UNPAR or a structural official.

UNPAR ensures that during the victim’s recovery period, their rights related to learning, employment, or other entitlements will not be reduced.

Victims of sexual violence are entitled to confidentiality, support, protection, and/or recovery through Satgas, as well as necessary academic or financial assistance based on Satgas recommendations.
