- Each participant must obtain a school recommendation
- Good grades in Indonesian, English, Mathematics, Civics, Religious & Ethics Education

- Photocopy of birth certificate (1 copy)

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Pathway
Embark on your academic journey with us through the RPL pathway, a registration option that recognizes your prior learning or work experience.
The RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) program at UNPAR allows you to convert the learning outcomes acquired from formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or your professional work experience into course credits, thereby enabling you to accelerate your study duration. The RPL program is an ideal opportunity for professionals who wish to pursue higher education without beginning anew.
Types of RPL
The RPL offered by UNPAR currently includes Type A RPL, which is divided into two categories:
- Credit Transfer: Recognition of learning outcomes obtained from prior formal education through the evaluation of transcripts and syllabus.
- Credit Acquisition: Recognition of learning outcomes obtained from non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience.
General Requirements
- Prospective students who have experienced academic discontinuation or Drop Out (DO) from a previous higher education institution are permitted to register through the RPL pathway at UNPAR.
- Prospective students who have experienced academic discontinuation or Drop Out (DO) at UNPAR are not allowed to continue their studies at UNPAR.
- Prospective students who have withdrawn from a Study Program at UNPAR are permitted to continue their studies at UNPAR through the RPL pathway.
RPL Requirements for Credit Transfer Type
Applicants applying for the Credit Transfer Type must meet the following requirements:
- Have previously studied in a program at another higher education institution;
- Required to submit documents including:
- Registration form (Form_F02),
- Curriculum Vitae (Form_F06),
- Copy of the latest Formal Education Certificate, at least high school or equivalent,
- Certificate equivalency document if the education was completed abroad,
- Copy of academic transcript,
- Course syllabus,
- Learning Outcomes (LO) for courses completed at the previous university to be recognized,
- Self-assessment form for LO (Form_F03),
- Accreditation certificate of the previous study program and university from the applicant’s prior education level, and
- General information about the university, including its accreditation status in its country and/or ranking, if the courses were taken abroad.
RPL Requirements for Credit Acquisition Type
Applicants applying for the Credit Acquisition Type must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed formal education at least at the level of high school or equivalent;
- Have undertaken at least a bachelor’s program to apply for RPL Program in professional and master’s programs;
- Have a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in non-formal education, informal education, and/or relevant work experience in a field related to the intended study program;
- Possess Learning Outcomes (LO) obtained from formal education, non-formal education, informal education, and/or relevant work experience related to the study program to be pursued;
- Required to submit documents including:
- Registration form (Form_F02);
- Curriculum Vitae (Form_F06);
- Copy of the latest Formal Education Certificate, at least high school or equivalent;
- Copy of the academic transcript from the latest level of education/high school report card or equivalent;
- Police Clearance Certificate;
- Self-assessment form for Learning Outcomes (LO) (Form_F03);
- Other supporting documents related to non-formal education, informal education, or work experience (including a recommendation letter from the company, supervisor, or manager).
Specific Requirements for the Master’s Program in Civil Engineering
In addition to the general requirements established by UNPAR, the RPL program in the Master’s Program in Civil Engineering must meet the following specific requirements:
- Applicants must have graduated from an A-accredited or “Unggul” study program.
- A maximum of 15 credits from elective courses can be converted through the RPL program.
