Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) has received national recognition as one of the Main Cluster universities in the Performance Mapping of Research and Community Service by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2023. Research is directed towards developing local potential into international excellence to enhance human dignity and the integrity of creation; it is also conducted in collaboration with government, industry, and the community, bringing benefits to a wider community for the local interests of West Java and nationally, while remaining globally relevant.
Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) is aimed at becoming a research-based university in the processes of learning, knowledge development, and community service, recognized both nationally and internationally. This means that research activities and community service results will form the basis for improving the quality of learning materials and processes. In recent years, research activities and scientific publications have increased rapidly, leading to more national and international publications, as well as improved quality and citation impact.
