Overview
The Bachelor of Informatics program is part of the Faculty of Science. Informatics is a discipline that focuses on problem-solving through software development.
Students of the Informatics program at UNPAR may choose from three specialization tracks: Computing Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Computing Science includes courses on game development, mobile applications, information security, and the Internet of Things.
- Data Science equips students to create value from data through analysis, preparing them to become data scientists—one of the most in-demand professions globally.
- Artificial Intelligence explores current trends in AI that are integrated into everyday life, and enables students to build their own AI systems.
Students also have opportunities to join student exchange programs, including at Memorial University in Canada, and internships at top companies such as Tokopedia, Traveloka, MRT Jakarta, and international firms like Earth Digital Ltd and RFIDiom Ltd in the UK.
The program is supported by advanced facilities including the Computing Laboratory, Big Data and Data Science Laboratory (equipped with high-performance computers), and the Certification and Collaborative Research Laboratory, which supports international certifications and student research.
