Education

The Faculty of Education (FKIP) at Parahyangan Catholic University is a newly established faculty, formed from the merger of STKIP Surya into UNPAR. This merger was officially sanctioned by the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 566/E/O/2024 concerning the Integration of Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Surya in Tangerang Regency into Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung, under the administration of the Parahyangan Catholic University Foundation.

Vision

To become a humanum academic community that develops local potential to the global level in the field of teacher training and education, for the dignity of humanity and the integrity of creation.

Mission

1. To build a humanum academic community that produces competent graduates in the field of teacher training and education and develops cultural values critically and creatively.
2. To carry out the three pillars of higher education (education, research, and community service) in teacher training and education, fostering local potential with global reach.
3. To organize student-centered learning, conduct research, and deliver community service to develop the sciences of education and pedagogy, alongside knowledge, technology, and the arts, for the betterment of human dignity and the preservation of the integrity of creation.

In line with UNPAR’s motto Bakuning Hyang Mrih Guna Santyaya Bhakti, the Faculty of Education (FKIP) educates future teachers to be excellent and dedicated to the development and well-being of society.
