Network Facilities

UNPAR’s current network infrastructure is supported by various devices, including:

  • 86 manageable switches
  • 21 routers
  • 461 Wi-Fi (hotspot) access points (APs)
  • Over 100 unmanaged network devices, ensuring coverage across all campuses (Ciumbuleuit, Merdeka, Nias, Aceh).

For internet services, UNPAR subscribes to two Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to maintain redundancy. As of 2023, UNPAR’s total bandwidth includes:

  • 600 Mbps for international traffic (IX)
  • 1500 Mbps for domestic traffic (IIX)
  • 50 Mbps of allocated bandwidth for inter-campus connectivity (Wide Area Network)
