Our UNPAR Lecturer Catharina Badra Nawang Palupi, Ph.D. received an award from Asosiasi Perguruan Tinggi Katolik Indonesia (APTIK) at the awarding ceremony held on Monday, March 16, 2015. She was one of three lecturers receiving the award from APTIK, the two other lecturers were Suryadi Ismaji from Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, and Elisabeth Rukmini from Atma Jaya Catholic University. All three were selected from 72 lecturers below 45 years of age.
Catharina Badra Nawang Palupi, Ph.D. is currently the Head of Industrial Technology Study Program of Parahyangan Catholic University. She received the award for the best lecturer in community service. She is really proud of her current achievement. “The essence of my pride is due to the fact that my work and services are well appreciated”.in her opinion, the award is proof that her actions are meaningful for society. The award has strengthened her commitments to continually serve as a lecturer in community service.
Acoording to the jury, the community service conducted by Catharina Badra Nawang Palupi, Ph.D. is always based on research. She has the ability to improve institutional capacity through team management that includes fellow lecturers and students. She also has the ability to develop both national and international networks, and has been able to obtain grants for her activities.
Other than those facts, the juri also thought that Catharina Badra Nawang Palupi, Ph.D. is also productive with continuing community service. They contributed to the solution of strategic problems in the interest of the nation.
