Unpar Career Expo & Seminar, “Launch Your Success”

The Career Development Center of Parahyangan Catholic University (PPK Unpar) once again held Unpar’s Career Expo & Seminar (UCES). This annual event aims to help students and graduates of Unpar and the localcommunity to achieve success by planning careers right from the start. This year, the Career Expo was held at Harris Hotel and Convention Ciumbuleuit for two days. With the theme “Launch Your Success”, it is expected that visitors to the expo can attain the right career.

The Career Expo event was opened on Thursday (7/9), attended by university leaders, invited guests from various universities in Bandung, as well as representatives from companies participating in the event. The opening was officially signified by the beating of the gong by the Rector of Unpar Mangadar Situmorang Ph.D accompanied by the Head of PPK Dewiyani S.Psi, Psychologist, CGA and faculty representatives in Unpar. The opening ceremony was also enlivened by the Unpar Student Choir (PSM) performance which was welcomed by the audience.

The Career Expo held as part of UCES has become a highly anticipated item on the agenda. This is evident from the number of visitors who attended UCES in 2017 thatreached more than 2,500 people. Visitors not only come from Unpar, but also come from various universities in the city of Bandung, even from out of town.

This year, more than 30 participating companies took part in enlivening Unpar Career Expo activities. Participants come from various national and international companies in Bandung, also in various regions in Indonesia. Participating companies are increasingly varied, both in terms of business fields and open vacancies, opening up wider opportunities for graduates who come from various fields of science. Not only that, UCES also invites various advanced education institutions for young people who are interested in pursuing higher education, before entering the world of professional career-making.
