Alya Nurshabrina, an alumnus of International Relations Study Program of Parahyangan Catholic University (HI Unpar) was crowned Miss Indonesia 2018, at the final night of Miss Indonesia 2018, Friday (23/2) at MNC Studios Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
As a representative of West Java, Alya successfully set aside 33 other Miss Indonesia finalists representing all provinces in Indonesia. Previously, the finalists had been quarantined for three weeks as part of the selection phase. They are equipped with various preparatory activities before the coronation night at the peak event.

Study time at Unpar
During college, the student of HI Unpar class of 2013 also has a myriad of achievements, including being awarded Unpar’s Most Outstanding Students 2014-2017 , in addition, Alya’s participation along with other Unpar delegates at Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) representing Indonesia. She and her team won the Social Venture Challenge (SCV).
In the social field, Alya who has volunteered in an organization and has done a number of social actions, among others, as chairman of the show “This is Us: Youth Unite For Autism”, that donates books for libraries in Maluku, as reported by CNN Indonesia.
In addition to academic, and social field, Alya is also talented in arts. From painting, writing poetry, to dancing and singing. In between her activities during her university years in FISIP Unpar, Alya who was the winner of Femina Face 2014, also has other activities in the world of modeling, such as fashion shows and photo shoots.
Not only winning the crown of Miss Indonesia 2018, the winner also received a gift of a car and cash. In addition, the three major finalists won a master’s degree scolarship at Swiss German University, Indonesia.
